Joe Thomas is an R&B singer born on 5th July 1972 in Columbus, Georgia, United States. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and signed his first recording contract with Polygram Records in 1992. The following year, he released his first album, titled “Everything”. He later signed with Jive Records, where he released a number of studio albums, including “All That I Am” in 1997, “May Name is Joe” in 2000, “Better Days” in 2001, “And Then…” in 2003.
THE MANHATTANS were originally: Winfred “Blue” Lovett, Richard Taylor, Kenny Kelley,George “Smitty” Smith and Sonny Bivins. Blue and Smitty were out front as the group’s strong lead singers. Blue was also the group leader and an outstanding songwriter whose compositions with producer Joe Evans gave the group a string of hits on Carnival Records during the mid 1960s.
Born on November 30, 1964 in Kingston, Jamaica and christened Kevin Anthony Jackson, Sanchez grew up with his Mother, Father, two brothers and two sisters, in the Stony Hill and Waterford Communities under strong Christian principles.
Love, Understanding, Sensitivity and Trust were formed in 1997 with a line-up that featured Lukie D, Tony Curtis, Singing Melody and Thriller U. The group came to prominence when they performed at the MIDEM 97 festival in France.
